**Today is the last day to sign up for the Fall Reset!  Don’t miss out on feeling your best in just 2 weeks!**

Happy Foodie Friday, and get ready for another episode of Foodie Friday in a Flash, where I deliver 2-3 minute videos highlighting one of my favorite foods and its health benefits.  This week, the feature of the video is QUINOA!  Do you know whether quinoa is actually a grain?  Why it gets so much buzz in health food restaurants?  What are the health benefits of quinoa  How to use it?  Find out all of these in the video below!

I don’t eat many traditional grains, but I love adding quinoa to soups or having it as a side dish.  In fact, I love it so much, that it’s already included in 7 recipes on the blog!  I’ll link to each of them below.  Try one today, and let me know which one you try!

I haven’t commented on your blog in forever!! I can’t wait for work to calm down because I miss my blogging buddies—seriously I LOVE Quinoa, I just haven’t found as many ways as you to add it to stuff. I’m usually boring and just add it to my salads and stuff, but soup is a great idea! Can’t wait to try it

Definitely right there loving these recipes … and I totally love quinoa as well! I use it in all sorts of things from breakfast to sides to main dishes like quinoa sliders. Sadly my family really aren’t fans of the texture …

I’m totally not a texture “freak” so no textures really turn me off of a food (I guess oysters would be one example), but I understand that the texture of quinoa is a bit strange to some!

I was really surprised when I found out that quinoa can go with cranberry and orange juice! It turned out way better than i expected and nothing like it would with rice at all.

Fun Fact: I didn’t like quinoa the first time I made it. Now, it is a staple. Love this round up of recipes!
