Happy Motivation Monday! (Note that since this post, Start Here has been published, and is available here on Amazon!)
Today, I’m sending motivation to watch out for the hidden added sugars that creep into all of our diets. Added sugar is detrimental to our health in so many ways, and is so pervasive in today’s food supply (see the video below to learn what percentage of supermarket foods contain added sugar!)
If you want to learn how to spot added sugar in products, why added sugar is detrimental to our health, how addictive it really is, all about high fructose corn syrup and artificial sweeteners, and how to start reducing your intake, you’ll need to get your hands on my book,
“Start Here,” which launches on Wednesday! I can’t wait to hear what you think of the book!
Until then, enjoy today’s video, which gives you a glimpse into one source of hidden added sugar!
Now it’s your turn … This was just one of the top 15 sources of hidden added sugar. Can you guess another one?
Two that surprised me were salad dressings and spaghetti sauce … Lisa did weight watchers about 12 years ago and they really pushed the fat-free salad dressings as well as having it ‘on the side’ … but looking at the ‘chemical soup’ of ingredients, the last few years we just use olive oil & vinegar most of the time.
